Knull

Knull is the ancient god who created the symbiote race -- including Venom, Carnage, and every other symbiote -- as a weapon in his war against the light, before his own creations turned on him and imprisoned him. He's kept contained by the Codex, a genetic record carried inside the symbiotes' hosts, and spends the Venom films working through intermediaries to hunt it down and free himself. Eddie and Venom's sacrifice destroys the Codex sought to free him, but Knull himself remains alive, aware, and still trapped. Read more →
