The full story
Framed for Destiny's murder, the Runaways find a home in an abandoned mansion hidden under Griffith Park and call it the Hostel. The Pride splits over Jonah. Tina takes command with Geoffrey as her co-captain, and kills Molly's relative Graciela to keep the Hernandezes' tape quiet. Catherine Wilder kills Darius Davis, the criminal Alex had been working with, and frames him for Destiny's murder, which clears the kids.
Karolina has been seeing Jonah in secret. He teaches her to use her powers without the bracelet and takes her down the drill hole, where she learns about her alien family, and he tells the Pride he only wants to dig up his buried ship and go home. Then Leslie tells Karolina that it was Jonah who killed Amy. When the Pride blows up the ship, Nico kills Jonah. As he dies he speaks with an Australian accent and recognizes no one: the thing that was Jonah was only ever borrowing the body. A street kid named Topher joins the group for a while and bonds with Molly, until they learn he saw the Hernandezes die and has been using the same glowing rocks that gave Molly her strength.
With Jonah gone, the Pride turns to getting its children back. Leslie, pregnant and sent by her husband Frank Dean and her own church to be "reconditioned", is rescued by Karolina, Nico and Molly. Chase goes home to his parents to keep his friends safe, and Victor, back from the dead, gets him to join the Pride. In the finale a shapeshifting alien named Xavin tells Karolina that the two of them are betrothed, and that Leslie is carrying Jonah's heir. Jonah's family has taken new bodies. The Runaways split up while their parents hunt them, and it turns out Victor is Jonah. Karolina, Chase and Janet Stein are captured, and Tina and Stacey have been taken over too.
