Gwen Stacy

Gwen Stacy is Peter Parker's classmate and girlfriend, and the daughter of NYPD Captain George Stacy -- she works alongside Peter at Oscorp and understands his double life as well as anyone in it does. She loses her father to a confrontation with the Lizard, made to promise she'll stay out of Spider-Man's fights, a promise she doesn't keep. She dies falling from a clock tower during Spider-Man's battle with Harry Osborn's Green Goblin; his web catches her, but not in time to stop the fall from killing her.
