Victor Von Doom is the monarch of Latveria, a brilliant scientist and sorcerer who blends advanced technology with mystic ritual. Scarred in an experiment gone wrong, he wears an iron mask and armor of his own design, and rules his small nation as an absolute, if genuinely competent, dictator. He holds Reed Richards, whom he blames for his disfigurement, as his defining rival, and has repeatedly sought power on a cosmic scale, from Doctor Strange's Sorcerer Supreme mantle to command of Battleworld itself.
