Carlton Drake is the CEO of the Life Foundation, a biotech and aerospace company that brings symbiotes to Earth aboard one of its own space probes. Convinced that merging humans and symbiotes is the next step in evolution, he runs illegal trials on homeless test subjects and eventually bonds with the Riot symbiote himself, becoming powerful enough to fight Venom directly. He's killed when Eddie and Venom destroy the launch vehicle he's trying to escape Earth aboard, moments after liftoff.
