Blade

Eric Brooks

Played by Wesley Snipes

Eric Brooks is a dhampir. His mother was bitten by a vampire while she was pregnant with him, and he was born with a vampire's strength, speed and healing and none of its weaknesses but the thirst, which a serum holds back. Raised and armed by his mentor Abraham Whistler, he hunts vampires as Blade, the Daywalker. Across three films he kills Deacon Frost, the vampire who bit his mother, leads a truce with the vampires against the Reapers, and destroys Dracula. Wesley Snipes's Blade turns up again in Deadpool & Wolverine, stranded in the Void and fighting alongside the two of them. Read more →
